Bas yahi apradh main har baar karta hoon
Aadmi hoon aadmi se pyaar karta hoon
My only crime is that
I am a man, and I love a man
Actually, this old Hindi film song, which although talks about being a man and loving a man, is supposed to depict a love for mankind, but it truly depicts the situation of man's love for men. Those were the days when the society was not heterosexualized and there was not no stigma attached to social intimacy and deep friendship between men, neither was love between men was attached with the passive/ effeminate third gender 'homosexuals', that makes such a song 'unhearable' in today's world. It is a highly stigmatized song today, and the Forces of Heterosexualization have made a lot of fun of it, while the homosexuals have lapped it up as their 'song'.
